1. It’s all about you.
With JPFS, you receive personal, one-on-one time with your résumé writer. Many résumé services say they provide high quality résumés, but if you don’t get to talk to the writer, you are short changing yourself- how can you have a great résumé highlighting your skills and experience written by someone who has never even spoken to you? If you aren’t offered the opportunity to talk to the writer up front, you are getting a mass produced, template résumé. Don’t you deserve better?
2. The free résumé critique:
an honest evaluation
While this isn’t great for business, it’s the truth: occasionally, résumés written by clients really aren’t all that bad- they just need a little help. We at JPFS are willing to work with you if that’s the case. If your résumé needs a complete rewrite, we’ll tell you why. If it doesn’t, we’ll tell you that too and work with you to make minor modifications at a reasonable price that will have a major impact on your job search.
3. Good credentials
Over 11 years experience evaluating résumés for fit with jobs, 5 years of writing résumés, positions in corporate Human Resources and Career Services, and résumé writing certification. What does this mean to you? This means that we didn’t start writing résumés last week, or last year- this is a profession, and how we make a living- we are experienced in creating a high quality product based on a strong work ethic and honest dialog with the client.
4. An understanding of résumé formatting
At JPFS we know that how your résumé looks is just as important as what it says. Hiring managers won’t spend time wading through a poorly formatted résumé to find the buried nuggets of information that set you apart from other candidates. Your skills need to be obvious, easily assimilated, and show fit with the position you are looking for. Beware of the pretty résumé that bullets everything. There should be a clear distinction between your basic job duties and your accomplishments. And better yet, your résumé should clearly state the skills you used to achieve your accomplishments. A good-looking résumé with solid content best represents you.
5. A better quality document for a more affordable price
Really- When you compare the cost of mass-produced résumé services, it only makes sense to choose the option that gives you the best value for your money. Custom service at reasonable prices- what more could you ask for?

There are techniques you can learn to talk about your accomplishments and to manage your body language that will greatly increase your chances for success. We teach you interview techniques that you will have for a lifetime.
93% of hiring authorities say that most people do an average job, at best, in interviews, and that most were not as well prepared as they should have been (101 Best Résumés to Sell Yourself).
